It's a 6 am phone call work day facing em so i'm dashing off a morning write as fast as i can. It's warm, too. Not hot, pleasantly warm, but it seems odd to not feel the cool first thing in the morning. Maybe as i sit still the warmth of the nights sleep will fade from me.

Last night came home and read a bit then watched two episodes of The Avengers from '98, distressingly in color and without Emma Peel, while seaming the left side of the altered shirt. I haven't ordered dyes yet. I do wonder how badly i can screw up dying something, as i now put hours of altering in. My idea is that dying the crochet thread in place will mean getting enough dyed. On the other hand, the white crochet thread is inexpensive and my time is limited.

I also muddled lime, mint, sugar and rum last night for summery mojitos. We don't often drink -- Christine's meds disagree with alcohol -- but i think i can stand the occasional drink. (A depressive watches the alcohol carefully.) Dilute in seltzer the lime mint combination was divine and i hardly sensed the alcohol. Of course it was a very easy evening and i had wanted to fall asleep sooner than i did.

The distant stratosphere of management at work has a touch of disturbing indicators that i don't like, and, as i was out last week, i vented a little bit with my boss. I also had a good long chat with our authentication expert and my boss about some ideas and use cases based on some of the technologies i saw last week. I wasn't engaged with work, whatever is going on with my health drags me down and i'm coughing a bit. Time to renew the flovent script.
