Random tech thoughts:

Current wish object: ubunto on a sexy device with 10 hr battery life and a keyboard of some sort -- a smartbook. Currently i have a crush on the snapdragon processor. And the Lenovo skylight. But I need access to a command line and gawk. I suppose there's a SSH+terminal application out there for the android, but i'd rather NOT be dependent on having network connectivity.

I probably ought to learn to use mySQL and PHPadmin. Unfortunately, i used gawk extensively in the 90's and it is this tool that i can use in a moment from the command line and then develop up as my data curiosity expands.

Should i play with ubunto first on virtual box?

I like the idea of the fonts that Google is releasing, but not sure any of the released fonts speak to me. I suppose i'll get used to the Droid font with serif.

I wonder if Google will release stats on how many hours are spent playing the Pac-man game in the logo.

I am full of human interaction from the conference: next week is more intense human interaction. I am teary. I am trying to care for myself but have a hard time seeing how to do that and meet my responsibilities.

Maybe i should be sick this afternoon.
