So, i'm trying to rest so this chest cold will go away. It's not debilitating, but my voice turns croaky and my body aches.
I went shopping. There are Kindle deal of the day books for $3 each. And then free kindle books -- short stories, mostly, i think, teasers for author's other works.
How could i turn down having these on my phone?

Always On : Language in an Online and Mobile World [Kindle Edition], Price: $ 2.99
And these -- if it was anything other than moving electrons i'd probably not waste the resources, but, i'll give them a try. Heidegger's Glasses *sounds* good....

Once i'd skimmed the free stuff at Kindle i wondered what cheap stuff was available at Audible. Here, the sale prices just squeaked under $10 (real money), but that's over half off. So i scanned the hundred fiction titles for sale and found two novels, about a cross country flight length, each. This is a good deal. I've got a flight in February lined up.
