Adaptive math test presented a hard question initially and then told me after an easier follow-up that my risk literacy is better than 25–50% of college-educated individuals, and that that meant 50% of people will understand risk better than me, so I should practice math. I'm afraid for a raging math-phobe, this is not very helpful, esp. without breaking down how I should have computed the first response (where even making it into a percentage had me in a tizzy). Sorry folks, I will remain math-avoidant and suspicious that all statistics are being used to deceive me.
