manager: I will now take bids for today's activities.

demander: WORK!

manager: Too unspecific.

creator: Beaded rope for a gift, you know, we were practicing yesterday.

manager: Um, no. The beaded rope is not something we're good enough at yet for a gift. Punt. Finish with the chained beads and make a simple strand of the seed beads for the focal arrangement. And use the purchased toggles. Get it done.

creator: creme brulee?

manager: yes, since the egg custard is done.

demander, petulantly: WORK.

manager: do i have to help you refine that?

demander: reschedule 3 Jan invite, finish reviewing the themes doc, write list of topics for Monday.

manager: much better.

Responsibility: Go to Meeting

manager, creator, demander all look at Responsibility and roll their eyes.

manager, gently, taking Responsibility's hand: I know we should, but, let's weigh that against the time we spent on the Oversight letter on Friday.

Responsibility: Sit in front of the light. Get out for a walk while the sun is out.

Responsibility: Write K an apology for bolting.

Perfectionist: Oh, writing! We have got to get the Christmas cards done! And Thank You Notes! And we have to do the new years cards! And we should figure out birthday cards for January! And --

Manager: No Christmas cards. Processing and printing the New Year photo should be done. Thank you to grandparents --

Christine, belatedly: I think i could do a walk.

Manager: walk it is, and definitely the light box. Thank yous on the backstock of cards from Joe Decker.

Responsibility: what about the goals to journal the new year dreaming workbook and the job notes. You know you missed all last week.

Manager: that's true. But not today. We'll figure out how to catch up on that after the visitor goes back to Ohio.

While silly, this was very useful to help me find the emotional triggers that have the impatient "Must Do"s as opposed to the less emotional but just as necessary things to do. Responsibility & Manager will go off and play with the list now.
