I've spent much of my morning time reflecting on epistemology, prompted by questions on a Quaker lists for scientists to respond to some questions about the similarities and differences in Quaker and scientific ways of knowing.

I have received one of my first wacko emails due to my role caring for the website of a Friends' organization for LGBTQ folks. It's a gay-friendly wacko, i think, but the author undermines their critique of "agape" -- "Today's churches stating 'agape' love (Jesus' 'new commandmen' in John 13:34) is 'non-sexual' love, is a flat-out lie..." -- with a conclusion that "Jesus has already stated in uncorrupted English, exactly who will and will not be saved in Matthew 25:31-46."
